Friends and Family of Fort Huachuca

Sierra Suites has long considered the Ft. Huachuca Military base and its military personnel close friends of the hotel, located just down the street from the fort's gates.

The management and staff of the hotel understand how difficult it is for our military men and women to be away from their friends and family during their stay at the base and would like to help.

Starting in October, Sierra Suites has created the 'Fort Huachuca Friends and Family Package.' -- an affordable way for military family and friends to be together. This one-of-a-kind package includes:

  • A spacious comfortable guestroom at Sierra Suites (either a King or Two Queen Beds)

  • Breakfast Buffet daily, including both hot and cold items

  • $25 Gas Card (to help with transportation expenses)

  • $40 Gift Card to La Casita Restaurant -- enjoy lunch or dinner or both on us!

  • $10 in-room movie credit

  • Welcome gift including popcorn and movie snacks as well as information on things to do in Sierra Vista.

  • Kids 17 and under stay free

  • Upgrade into a suite for just an additional $10 (based on availability)

This incredible family package is only $109 per night (2 night minimum required)

We truly look forward to hosting the friends and family of our own Fort Huachuca men and women soon.

Sierra Suites - New General Manager

Sierra Suites Hotel located in Sierra Vista, Arizona has been breathlessly awaiting the appointment of their new General Manager. Granite Hospitality (owners and managers of Sierra Suites) has spent months interviewing candidates and making a multitude of upgrades at the hotel including the expansion of the fitness center, renovated breakfast area now including a variety of both hot and cold items as well as new furnishings in the lobby and new carpeting in the meeting rooms. Though the Sierra Vista hotel has had many changes to upgrade the facilities, a long standing employee of the hotel who epitomizes the history of service excellence Sierra Suites has been known for, was finally selected to be the new General Manager: Mrs. Glen Cobb.

Glen has worked for 7 years for the hotel located in Sierra Vista just down the street from Ft. Huachuca military base, in a variety of positions including guest services, night audit and Manager on Duty. She's lived in Sierra Vista since 1976 and has become actively involved in the community. She and her husband of 33 years owned a local auto repair shop in Sierra Vista for over twenty years. They are proud parents of 4 children and grandparents of (almost) 7 grandchildren. They both enjoy all that Southern Arizona has to offer and have visited almost all of the landmarks in the area including: The Ft Huachuca Museums, Karchner Caverns, Tombstone, Bisbee and the Chiricahua Mountains (to name a few).

Glen has developed a passion for the historical significance of South-Eastern Arizona that she calls the 'Center of the True West.' She and her husband are heavily involved in keeping the true history of the Southwest alive by participating in live re-enactments of key moments in Tombstone hsitory, dressing in full wardrobe from that era.

She loves to share her knowledge and passion about her community - so be sure to ask on your next visit to Sierra Suites.

Glen is very excited to take on this new position and considers it a new adventure in her life in Sierra Vista. In order to celebrate this new chapter, she's created a very special 'GM Welcome Package' that will be available through October 31.

This package is only $99 and includes a $25 gift certificate to La Casita Mexican Restaurant located next door to Sierra Suites.

Book your reservation in Sierra Vista by the end of October (for any future date) using this online link.

"I look forward to the opportunity to serve guests and my community in a new position. Welcome to Sierra Vista and Sierra Suites!" says Glen Cobb.

New GM Welcome Package, valid through October 31.
